I enjoyed my family walk with my Dad and my new friends. I had so much fun that day. I wanted to stay there for ever and ever. I found treasures with my dad and my new friends Jim and Joe, and they sent me a card.

Had a great walk on Saturday 10 th October 2009 around the Cochno Loch, the slacks and the Jaws reservoir. Thanks to David Boddy for being a very friendly and informative leader ( and helping me with my map reading!) Hope to see you on a walk soon

I lead the odd walk aimed at people who want to climb Munros but at a slow pace. Of late a number of people from Glasgow have joined us, boosting our numbers nicely with cheery folk. Given that many clubs have an ageing but stamina-rich membership, I wonder how Glasgow hf is addressing this change in what people may need from their club. I see from the programme that there are no Munro walks at a slow pace for Glasgow members, & this seems to explain the three new faces recently appearing on walks in Blair Atholl, Glencoe & Ballachulish recently.

I experienced my first walk with the club last Sunday (Beinn Dubhchraig). I really enjoyed it, despite not making the peak. The other walkers were very supportive, full of energy and humour and were really good company. They shared their knowledge and experience in a very helpful manner. Many thanks to Jim, Elva, Liz, David, Susan, Ee, Peter and leader Shaun for a great day out.

Hello! Completed my first walk with the Club yesterday. The views at the summit of Meall Buidhe were amazing. I really enjoyed my day, although I did struggle with the climb in the first hour! Thanks to Jim, Anne, Billy, Bob & Caroline for all their support & patience. Looking forward to my next walk. Thanks, Lesley

My parents - Jean and Dugald Robertson - were members in 1950s - met via the hut at Balloch and then married in 1950. Friends included the Grimmonds and Johnny Dick. I have a few passed on memories - does anyone else?

I have been searching under walking groups in Glasgow since November but have had no real luck until tonight! I decided to enter walking and hill walking into my search engine and there you were! I am very impressed with your website and your photo gallery is very inspiring. This seems like a friendly group with a good mix of ages and appears to be well organised. I am hoping to join you once I have had a medical and bought some essential equipment. In the meantime good luck and enjoy your upcoming walks. Katie Rhodes

Wow! Great website, only wish we had a hill walking club like this down our way in West Sussex; although to be honest I guess we don't actually have the hills for it aroundabouts here, like you guys obviously do! I visited your website today via a link put up by one of your local members on the www.outdoorsmagic.com website forum.

Had the pleasure of sitting with some of your members on the train to / from Corrour yesterday. I was en-route to Rannoch to check out the early stages of the Rannoch to Kingshouse Hotel walk that I will be leading for my own club, The Monklands Ramblers, on Sat. 31 May.

Would like to thank Alistair and Maisie McCrae for such an interesting walk. The view from Kinnoul Hill across the River Tay was spectacular. I would definitely do it again.

Nice to see a decent site for the club. Sorry to have missed 90th but I have not been active for a while. Ill health has brought my hills to a halt. However regards to everyone.

love your website, took me ages to find a club I could walk with and they don't have such a good programme. Wish I had seen this site last year.
