12 Jul 2008 - I was lost, but now I'm found....

As some of you were aware I found a bag with compass, mobile, GPS & camera in it on the Corrour outing.

I eventually traced the owner by using his SIM card in my mobile phone.

The man who lost the GPS, camera, compass & mobile is Chris Knowles from Scunthorpe. He lost them last September and in his letter he wrote:-

"I realised within twenty minutes of leaving my things on the hillside that they were not with me. I had stopped to take off my coat and left my camera bag behind. I tried to retrace my steps but without success and must have spent a couple of hours, then & later in the day, walking up & down and from side to side but all to no avail. The GPS was a present from my son & daughter. My wife will be relieved that I am not wandering about misty hills without up-to-date equipment. The news that they had been found brought a good ending to ten brilliant days in Scotland this May."
