As you may all have noticed the price of petrol is seldom stable these days. It had been announced that the mileage contribution for the winter programme was to be 27p per mile. Since publication the price of petrol has dropped sharply.
It has been decided that due to the difficulty in forecasting petrol prices, the mileage contribution shall be set on a monthly basis, and posted on the website.
In future, please check the website PRIOR to the weekend walks for the most up to date price.
The price which applies commencing 23rd October is:
25p per mile.
